Navigation Lights

The navigation light bulbs are incandescent and will dim over time as the filaments degrade. Inspect them not only for operation, but for light intensity.

Bow Light

The original part is a Perko 1310DP0CHR, which uses a clear 12V double-ended Festoon base bulb (Perko 0071DP0CLR). There are LED replacement bulbs and fixtures, some of which offer the same footprint and fastener spacing.

Stern Light

  • The lens is a Perko 0248DP0CLR 360 degree clear lens.
    It should be periodically replaced as it is plastic and loses its clarity with age, reducing visibility.

  • The clear 12V bulb is a #1004 with a BA15D - 1142 base.
    The original incandescent bulbs frequently burn out or fail due to vibration. Marine LED equivalents are far superior. A replacement can be up to 48.5mm long before interfering with the lens.
